  1. *Using census data, we determined whether participants overestimated or underestimated the prevalence of tobacco or cannabis use by 10% or more.
  2. **The proportion of participants in the census drinking more than a given participant in the sample was compared with the perceived proportion reported by each of the participants of the study sample. The prevalence of overestimation, underestimation, and accurate estimation of peer drinking was computed for the total sample. An accurate estimation was considered a perceived proportion within the ± 10% range of the computed proportion.
