Typical Workflow for Measurement Based Care in Primary Care. In a typical measurement based care workflow, patients first complete a brief screening measure annually on a tablet computer in the clinic waiting room, prior to being seen by any clinical staff. Alternatively, the patient may complete the assessments after being seen by the medical assistant or nurse. Patients who screen positive on the brief measure then complete a more complete screening measure. The results of screening measures are reviewed by the clinician, who utilizes the screening results plus their clinical interview to make a diagnosis. The treating clinician utilizes the clinical decision support algorithm that is embedded in the software. At subsequent visits, patients for whom treatment has been initiated complete the medication adherence and symptom tracking questionnaires on the tablet computer
